🗳️ Election Day — Tuesday, November 4

  • On the ballot: Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, all seats in the Virginia House of Delegates, and Local Offices.
  • Polls are open 6 AM to 7 PM. Anyone in line at 7 PM will be allowed to vote.

📅 Important Dates

  • September 19 – November 1, 2025: Early in-person voting.
  • Friday, October 24, 2025: Last day to register or update your address to vote on a regular ballot.
  • Friday, October 24, 2025: Last day to apply for a mail-in ballot.

🚌 Free Bus Rides on Election Day — Tuesday, Nov 4

WATA will offer fare-free service all day on November 4 to help voters reach the polls. Several polling places are within a short walk of WATA bus stops:

  • City of Williamsburg – near the Transportation Center and Jamestown Rd stops
  • York County – near Griffin-Yeates Center and Waller Mill Elementary
  • James City County – near Ironbound Rd, Longhill Rd, and Richmond Rd routes

  • Share your position on a bill (include the bill number).
  • Request help with a federal agency (SSA, IRS, VA, passports).
  • Invite them or staff to a League event or briefing.
  • Ask for oversight on an issue affecting our community.
  • Thank them for a vote or ask for a public statement.
  • Sign up for newsletters & town halls.
