Postage rates are going up (yet again!) on July 14 to 56 cents. If you plan to write postcards for the fall election, we encourage you to plan ahead and buy stamps at the current rate (53 cents). Our Reclaim Our Vote (ROV) postcard organizer (Jodi) hopes to send out a sign-up form in mid-July for this fall's postcard campaigns.

Note that postcard stamps are cheaper than first-class letter (Forever) stamps. Postcard stamps come in only three designs: sailboats, barns, and coral. If your stamps have any other design, you are likely paying more than you should! Like Forever stamps, postcard stamps are valid in perpetuity, even if the rates go up.
