Committee: Nominating

Composition

Per Article VIII of LWV-WA Bylaws, Committee consists of five people:

• Three League members elected at the Annual Meeting to the Committee, each for a 1-yr term (July 1-thru-June 30 of the following year). One of these three will be the Chair of the Nominating Committee. These three Committee members can not serve on the Board.
• The Board appoints two of its own members to the Committee immediately following the Annual Meeting.
• The President cannot serve on Nominating Committee in any capacity.

Duties

• Nominates all : Officers of the LWV-WA; Elected Directors of the Board; Three members of following term's Nominating Committee (who will not serve on the Board)
• Reports: Sends its nominating report including the nominations for Officers and Directors and the chair and two members of the next Nominating Committee, to all League members one month before the date of the Annual Meeting. Submits the same report at the Annual Meeting.
