Advocacy
LWV takes action on public policy positions established through member study and consensus agreement. Our local League, along with LWV VA, issue action alerts in keeping with our positions.

Membership elected and Board appointed officers and directors of LWV-WA as of August 2024.

Budget
Budget Committee is appointed by the Board to develop budget for each fiscal year (July 1 - June 30 cycle)

At least every two years the Board shall appoint a Bylaws Review Committee which shall consist of both Board and non-Board members.

Nominating
Composed of three non-Board League members elected at the Annual Meeting to the Committee. The Board appoints two of its own members to the Committee immediately following the Annual Meeting.

Maintain accounts and financial health of LWV-WA

Voter Services
Initiates all voter registration events. Creates and distributes Facts for Voters, a resource for for local voters. Organizes Candidates Forums.
